  1. How many years experience do you have designing and installing Christmas decorations?

    Christmas Décor of Toronto has had the pleasure of decorating homes of all shapes and sizes for Christmas since 1999.

  2. Over the years, how many homes have you decorated and in what areas do you service?

    Since starting our business, Christmas Décor of Toronto has created colourful and festive decorations for the Holidays for hundreds of homes in and around the Toronto area.

  3. How much will it cost to have our Christmas lights installed and taken down?

    Since each home is unique and each client has their own personal tastes, each Christmas Décor home decoration project is customized for the particular property. At Christmas Décor of Toronto, we offer a number of decorating options for our clients to fit every budget.

  4. Can you install and store Christmas decorations that I have already purchased?

    No. Christmas Décor of Toronto cannot provide a warranty or guarantee workmanship on any lights or decorations that we do not supply.

  5. Is there a difference between the type of lights you install and what I might buy at my local store?

    Yes. All our Christmas lights and decorations are manufactured to our exact specifications, including longer-life bulbs and lush and fuller greenery. We also use only CSA and UL-rated outdoor extension cords and a variety of property-friendly installation accessories. We stand by the outstanding quality of all our Christmas lights and home decorations.

  6. Will we also need to hire an electrician?

    With most of Christmas Décor of Toronto’s home decoration packages, an electrician is not required. In some cases, for more elaborate set-ups, additional power sources may be required.

  7. Do we need to be home for the installation?

    No. Not for our outdoor Christmas decorating projects. Our highly trained and efficient installation crew can complete your installation while you are away from home.

  8. What other decorations do you have?

    Christmas Décor can provide lush wreaths, pre-lit garland, and bows of various sizes. If there is something else that you want, we would be more than happy to get it for you.

  9. What type of lights do you use?

    Christmas Décor of Toronto uses all new 2008 style LED lights that are energy efficient with a brilliant glow. We provide all of the traditional colours, red, green, yellow, blue and clear.

  10. What parts of my home can you decorate with lights?

    Christmas Décor of Toronto customizes your lighting specifically to your home. We light windows, trees, hedges, bushes, and even the facias and ridges of the roof.

  11. Are all the lights on timers?

    Yes. All of our custom packages include timers that allow you to specify the times that you want your home lit which will help save you money on your electricity bill.

  12. Do you provide a warranty in case some of the lights installed are faulty?

    All Christmas Décor of Toronto installations include ongoing maintenance on all the lights and decorations we install. We also include proactive maintenance visits throughout the Holiday season for all our clients to ensure your decorations look perfect from initial installation to final take down.

  13. Who do we contact for service should there be an issue with our decorations?

    For all Christmas Décor clients, you will be provided with contact information for a service representative. We also provide proactive service calls throughout the Christmas season.

  14. Do you carry liability insurance?

    Yes. All employees of Christmas Décor of Toronto are trained and insured professionals.

  15. When do you take the lights down?

    Our goal is to make the full Christmas Décor experience as convenient and unobtrusive as possible. With Canadian winters, the weather is unpredictable. We schedule our take-downs once our elves can safely get on roofs and climb trees. Simply unplug your timer when you decide that you do not want your lights on.

  16. How far in advance do we have to book your services?

    Due to the fact that the Christmas decorating season is somewhat short, booking your appointment with as much lead time as possible is appreciated. Our schedule tends to fill up as early as mid-November.
